Sony added Glee: The Music, volume 4 to their release schedule today with a release date this month. November 30th to be exact. cutting it kind of close this time lol. Tracklist to come in the morning

i compared the list of songwriters to each track, the only one i'm not 100% of is "Marry You" because there was already two songs with three of the same writers (Billionaire and Just The Way You Are), but i'm about 90% positive that Marry You is the Bruno Mars song. I'm about 99% sure that Forget You is the Cee Lo Green song since it had his birth name in the songwriters list. I'm mostly interested in hearing the Glee renditions of Cee Lo and The Zutons.

Yay! I was hoping they'd do another compilation album. I got worried when the Christmas album was announced as the next one, so I'm glad they're putting out a voume 4.

luckily, it will have songs from episodes that havnt been aired because RM said that there will only be 1 volume for each half of season 2. so volume 4 will be the only vlume for episodes 1-10.

BUT..........

volume 4 is released the day episode 9 airs which is the second last episode of this year (the last being the christmas episode) so it is very obvious that there will not be a volume 5 this year. but they may have a volume 5 AND 6 next year. who knows.

i don't think there will be 5 and 6 next year.. but i wouldn't be surprised if there's an EP for the season finale episode like season 1 had

i'm confused. because it's not out yet? lol no artwork yet either, Sony just announced the release and tracklist yesterday afternoon, it can take up to a week or two for the artwork to be released

and yes, Michael Buble has covered Sway, but he's not the original. it was originally "¿Quién será?" by Pablo Beltrán Y Su Orchestra in 1953 then Dean Martin covered it, in English obviously, in 1954

i guess that's why they're doing the radio edit where he says "Forget You" instead of "F--- You" lol

im disapointed that they chose billionaire instead of telephone and no what i did for love. and no happy days are here again and no dont go breaking my heart. but 8 episode and only 18 songs to fit into would be a tough choice. but volume 3 had 20 tracks. they totaly could have chosen 2 more songs to go on there.

oh well- its not like i cant just listen to the other songs on my ipod.

Forget you I'm thinking will be a Will/Holly duet, as it lists Gwyneth Paltrow. If they censor it, I suppose it's fairly appropriate. Spec time!

I'm thinking Sway will be Will. Along with Just The Way You Are. Or maybe that'll be Artie. Matt and Kevin I see covering that well. Valerie I'm hoping is the Mark Ronson/Amy Winehouse version. If Marry Me is the Bruno Mars version... then someone's clearly a fan of the guy

No Carol Burnett on the album Or Charice. Hm.

this is.... thoroughly disappointing

not crazy about the songs they picked of the episodes we already know (4 from B/B?! really?!)... a lot of recent crappy songs (who the hell keeps picking Bruno Mars songs?!)... most of the upcoming songs don't excite me... and I'm fearing Time of My Life is going to be another predictable Finchel led competition (Sectionals) number...
