So, what songs would you like to hear Kurt sing on Glee? As of now, I'm thinking of two songs:
Everybody Hurts by REM - I'd like him to sing it with ND, or solo.
Englishman In New York - I think this would be a great song for him to sing as the main singer, with the Warblers. Ironic, but still.

I like the idea of Englishman in New York =D
Sting is awesome, and it could showcase Kurt's fancy, sassy side- without having to resort to a traditionally female song. (I would love if it were a Warblers version, using the Symphonicities version)
While Everybody Hurts is a great song- it's depressing.

Oooooh, love this topic. I may be showing my age but, here are some songs that I think would sound good with Kurt's voice.
Eurythmics - Sweet dreams are made of this
Roy Orbison -- Crying
Sisters are doing it for themselves (various folks have done this song, my favourites are Annie Lennox and Aretha Franklin)
Can't buy me love (Beatles)
just about anything by Bonnie Raitt -- Have a Heart, Something to Talk About
Rise Again - Rankin Family (this one comes from way out in left field, but it makes me cry everytime)
It's weird... I would have that the Kurt could rock a BeeGees song, but I've thought of How Deep is Your Love and Stayin' Alive and... no. I don't think so. Too Much Heaven? No... still can't see it. Maybe Jive Talkin' along with the rest of New Directions?
Can't you just see him doing stuff by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons? Like maybe December 1963?

I want to see Kurt and Blaine sing "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge as an epic Duet for Nationals or Regionals or something like that..
It would be the Klaine version of Faithfully or "Time of your life" except SOOOO much better.

This is why you should always wait until the end of the sentence before questioning someones judgement

Oh... that would be wonderful.
Can you picture him doing John Denver? Not sure...
How about Won't last a day without you, by the Carpenters.
Gee, I seem to be straying excessively into ballad territory. Will put my mind to songs that lend themselves to choreography. He's in a Glee Club after all...

haha, I just meant that in the sense that they are all duets for a competition.
I really liked Faithfully, but TOYL was an utter disaster.
I think Darren and Chris would KILL "Come What May", it would be so beautiful and be the most epic regionals/nationals duet EVER! Am I right? haha

If Kurt ever has to seduce anyone of his own, I would love to hear him sing "Sexy Silk" by Jessie J. That would be supermegafoxyawesomehot

I agree with you on this one. They would do so well with it.

i just want Kurt to sing SOMETHING again.
Blaine has had 5 solos and 2 Duets in the space of eight episodes, while Chris has only gotten 2 Duets in those same eight episodes.
Kurt should have sang Linda's part in Silly Love Songs, and we REALLY don't need pointless Warbler numbers shoe-horned into the episodes, and we certainely don't need Blaine/Rachel Duets.
Everyone but Chris has been singing since the hiatus ended. Even The Beiste and Brittany and Lauren (none of whom are good singers).
I am seriously upset that Chris might not be even on the next soundtrack (volume 5) as ususally EVERYONE gets a song on each soundtrack.
Not only that, but Chris had his vocal time severly cut in the Rocky Horror episode two.
LET KURT SING AGAIN, and stop with the Blaine vocals.
[/endrant]

Maybe he's singing "Loser like Me" it's the only song we are not sure about the singer for volume 5.

I listened to that song yesterday, and I don't think it suits his voice, unless they changed the arrangement for him.
His voice is very classic and broadway, not like that song at all.

When the inevitable Glee dating musical chairs (temporarily, I hope) hit Kurt and Blaine, I want Kurt to sing this song:
Or maybe he can just have another Diva-off with Rachel. I don't care, I just want him to sing it.
ETA:
This is a good song for happier times. Why should Rachel get all the Barbara??

First off I think he should sing Anything Goes because he's such a huge fan of Patti Lupone.
Next, he should sing The Trolley Song because he did so well with Get Happy. He'd be perfect for this song.
And just about everything in the Across the Universe Catalogue (because he does amazing with Beatles songs and he shines with Ballads.

I suggested this months ago for Rachel, but I think it could work better for Kurt.
And also "Toy Boy" by Mika
