What are your favourite Santana songs? I love nearly everything she's sung in tbh so its a very tough choice for me, I'll post what I chose later.

For group songs I didn't include Empire State of Mind because I can't hear her on it but I did include Toxic because I can hear her very clearly. I also included Landslide because she sang it on the show. But please do point out any errors. She really isn't included on enough group numbers.

I voted for "Valerie" (which I still say is with the possible exception of Don't Rain on My Parade, the BEST ND competition performance so far), River Deep Mountain High(one of the best duets so far) and Bad Romance(which is what I think put her on the map as far as singing goes)

I voted for "Back to Black", "Me Against the Music" (because it was damn sexy, but I almost chose RDMH), and "Bad Romance". I really think "I Love New York/New York, New York" ought be on the poll for group songs though. However, even if it were I might have still voted for Bad Romance. Santana/Naya was FIERCE in that song. smile.gif

Its really hard to pick Santana's songs because Naya always does a smashing job on them smile.gif

Duet: Me against the Music & River Deep Mountain High (and I would say landslide but i don't think she or Brittany had enough part in the singing for my liking. Though landslide is one of my favorites from the season)


Group: Thriller/Heads will Roll & Bad Romance ( yes and i agree that I love New York/ New York, New York", she is great in that)

My favorite solo is Songbird mainly because of the meaning it has for her and Brittany; I loved River Deep, Mountain High with Mercedes because you could tell they had so much fun performing it. For the group number I went with Like A Virgin, because it was the first time I'd actually heard Santana sing and realize that she had those pipes.

Solo: Valerie. I have listened to it so many times it isnt even funny. Though I was mad how she finally gets a big solo and we arent even shown her reaction to it, espically since it was for regionals. and then she wasnt even the main focus.

Duet: RiverDeepMountainHigh. Her and Mercedes just killed it and it is one of my favorite performances on the show.

Group: Thriller/HeadsWillRole. She was the main female so it was nice to see her stand out in the song from everyone else.

Duet: Landslide, even though its not really a duet, i can't not pick it if its a choice. River deep was amazing as well

group song: Thriller/Heads will roll. I also loved bad romance and like a virgin

I've pretty much loved every single line she's ever sang though!

My new favorite group song for Santana is "It's All Over". She just put so much attitude in her couple of lines, and she sounded awesome. I'm glad her part came at the beginning of the song, because I've been listening to it a lot up through her part then restarting it.

And I'm sure Candyman is going to be my new favorite Santana "duet"(?) biggrin.gif But she's got some other songs coming up too that may prove to be even more awesome. America from WSS has the potential to be her very own DROMP moment.
