In this episode, we found out why Sam has quitted New Directions and ended his relationship with Mercedes. Also, some guys from the Glee Club start receiving some anonymous messages in their respective lockers, and not only love messages. Meanwhile, Puck and Quinn find out the way to talk with Shelby.


Scene One:

-----Lima Hospital. -----

Sam is seated, looking down, crying. He’s approach by a nurse.

Nurse: Sam, right?

Sam looks at the nurse.

Sam: (drying his eyes) how is she?

Nurse: She’s not doing well. She needs that surgery.

Sam: I don’t have the money.

Nurse: So there’s nothing we can do about it. I’m sorry.

Sam: I… I can work here to make money for the surgery.

Nurse: I’m afraid you can’t. You don’t have the age to work on a hospital. Or the experience.

Sam face palmed himself. This could not be happening. She is so young. Her little sister, Stacy, was ill. She need a lung transplant.

The nurse leaves.

Sam: What can I do? Wait a sec.

Sam grabs his phone and dials someone.

Sam: Come on… Answer!

Quinn: (on the phone) Sam?

Sam: (on the phone) Quinn! I need your help!

Quinn: Where are you?

Sam: I’m at the hospital.

Quinn: What happened?

Sam: I need your help.

The scene shows Sam and Quinn seated, talking at the hospital.

Sam: I know this is embarrassing, but I need your help.

Quinn: Is something wrong with Stacy?

Sam: She needs a surgery, but I don’t have the money…

Quinn: I’ll pay the surgery, don’t even bother asking.

Sam: I’ll pay you whenever I have the opportunity.

Quinn: Don’t. Just see this as an apology for every bad thing I’ve done to you.

Sam: You are really a great friend, Quinn.

Quinn: I know.

Sam: So… you rejoined New Directions…

Quinn: Yes. Will you too?

Sam: I don’t know. After the way I’ve treated Mercedes, I can’t even see her in.

Quinn: Look: I’m not good at relationships, but you both deserve a new opportunity.

Sam: Do you really think that?

Quinn: You two are the sweetest persons I’ve ever known.

Sam: Thanks Quinn, if you ever need something, just call me. You were always there when I’ve need someone.

Quinn: I think that’s the definition of “true friends”.

Sam hugs Quinn.

-----School Hallway. -----

Brian is opens his locker. A note falls from it.

Brian: A letter? What could it say?

Brian reads the letter:

Brian Atkins:

Brian seems excited.

Brian: Someone has kissed it. (Now thinking) Someone likes me? It must be a joke. Nevertheless, I have a girl friend
that loves me. I’d never cheated on her.

Brian picks up his books, close his locker and starts running.

The scene jumps to the choir room. We see Brian, Artie, Brittany and Santana.

Brittany: I can’t believe you’ve received a magical message.

Artie: It’s not magical Brittany; it’s just a secret admirer.

Santana: Can I ask why I’m even here? I barely know this leprechaun.

Brian: Was that an insult?

Santana: You can guess that.

Brittany: SANTANA! He is not a leprechaun!

Santana: Wait. I thought you thought he was a leprechaun.

Artie: I’ve told her the truth.

Flashback Begins; we see Artie and Brittany talking in Brittany’s bedroom.

Brittany: So he is not a leprechaun?

Artie: No, Brittany. I’m sorry for telling you this but…

Brittany: So he won’t turn Lord Tubbington’s poo that is in his sandbox into chocolate bars?

Artie: Emmm… I don’t think so…

Brittany: Thanks God. That would be so gross.

Flashback finish.

Artie: So what are you gonna do?

Brian: I dunno. I have a girlfriend in Ireland.

Santana: Do you think she is not gonna cheat on you?

Brian: Yes. She is my girlfriend.

Santana: Look. This is how things work naïve boy: we are in the 21th century. That means that long-distance
relationships don’t work. I beat she’s making out with some other boy right now.

Brian seems hurt.

Brittany: That is so mean Santana.

Santana: There’s only one way to find that out.

Artie: How?

Santana: Do you have a picture of her?

Brian: Of course I have one.

Brian shows Santana, Artie and Brittany a photo of her girlfriend. (She is portrayed by Evanna Lynch, also known as
Luna Lovegood, from the Harry Potter series).



Brittany: Brian! She’s beautiful. She must be a Harry Potter fan!

Santana: Yep, she’s cheating on you.

Artie: How do you know?

Brittany: Santana is right: she’s beautiful; every boy would want to be with her.

Santana: Even me.

Brian and Artie awkwardly stare at Santana. Brittany seems angry and Santana doesn’t know where she can hide from
the three of them.

Santana: (stuttering) If I was a lesbro, of course.

There’s a lot of awkwardness in the air.

Yes, he deserves better things, he is, to me, one of the best people of ND.

Thanks for the reply! And I will not rush, is that when ever I write one chapter I need to write another so now I have three chapters more


Scene Three:

-----Cafeteria. -----

Quinn is seated alone, eating. Puck seats next to her.

Puck: So… I’ve heard you met Shelby.

Quinn: Yes.

Puck: And?

Quinn: Nothing.

Puck: C’mon Quinn! Tell me, I’m begging you.

Quinn: It was… weird.

Flashback begins; Shelby and Quinn are talking.

Shelby: How’s school Quinn? I can see you are not part of the Cherriors anymore.

Quinn: I quitted.

Shelby: Oh…

Quinn: This is…

Shelby: …weird; I know. I think I saw you weeks ago in a park. I was going to talk with you, but you ran away.

Quinn seems embarrassed.

Shelby: Look Quinn, I came back so you and Puck can be part of Beth life, and to try to be part of Rachel’s life again.

Quinn: She won’t accept you.

Shelby: That’s why I came back. If you randomly see Beth in 15 years from now, that will happen to you.

Sugar comes in.

Sugar: Ms. C, can we continue practicing?

Shelby: Of course honey, just wait a sec.

Sugar: ‘key.

Shelby: Can we continue talking tomorrow right after school?

Quinn nods and leaves.

Flashback finishes.

Puck: Today are you seeing her again?

Quinn: Yes.

Puck: I’ll go with you.

Quinn Thanks…

Puck: So… how are things going with Artie?

Quinn: What?

Puck: Yeah, you two are pretty close.

Quinn: We are just friends.

Puck: Really?

Quinn: I’m not into Artie.

Puck: So who are you into with?

Quinn: No one. Let me eat this food Puckerman.

Puck: Do you have friends?

Quinn: What? Of course I do.

Puck: So why are you sitting here, all alone while the rest of us is eating in another table. As far as I know, you are
part of New Directions too.

Quinn: If I go you’ll stop bothering?

Puck: Yep.

Quinn: Okey.

Quinn and Puck get up and approach the New Direction’s table.

Scene Four:

-----School Hallway. -----

Santana is opening her locker. A letter falls from it.

Santana: A letter?

Santana starts reading the letter. When she finish, she runs to the bathroom.

The scene jumps to the girls bathroom. Santana is crying inside one of the cubicles where the toilet is. Quinn comes in.
She hears Santana’s crying.

Quinn: Santana? Is that you?

Santana: Get out Quinn.

Quinn: What’s the matter?

Santana: Nothing! Just leave.

Quinn opens the door.

Quinn: You know you can tell me, Santana. With Brittany, we are the UnHolly Trinity, and no one can break that.

Santana: Do you remember… that time in New York… when we cut your hair?

Quinn: Of course.

Santana: Do you remember that you thought that Brittany and I wanted to… you know…

Quinn: Yep. And I kept your secret. Can you tell me what happens?

Santana: Someone knows about me and Brittany. And is blackmailing me.

Quinn is shocked.

Quinn: What?!

Santana: Look.

Santana gives Quinn the letter and she starts reading it.

I know your secret. Yes; I know you are lesbian. I also know you are secretly dating your best friend Brittany. If you don’t want the whole school to know come to the astronomy class, at 3 pm. If you don’t come, your little secret will be in a post in every hallway of this school. Did I make myself clear?

Quinn: So what are you gonna do?

Santana: Should I go?

Quinn: I’ll try to find out who is blackmailing you while you go the astronomy class, ok?

Santana: Thanks.

Quinn: Does Brittany know about this.

Santana: No… Things are not good between us. I asked her to break up with Artie but she…

Quinn: You can’t ask her that; that’s awful.

Santana: I know but… I really love Brittany.

Quinn: Look: Artie is a very sweet guy. He loves Brittany. He would be devastated if she breaks up with him.

Santana: So are you suggesting me to make him break up with Brits? That’s an amazing idea Quinn!

Quinn: I’ve never said that!

Santana gets up and leaves.

Santana: Thanks Quinn.

Quinn: SANTANA! WAIT!

Quinn runs out and follows her.

Rachel is approaching her locker. There’s a letter on it.

Rachel: A letter?

Dear Rachel:
How are you? I’m writing you this letter because I’m very shy to talk with you. You are very beautiful and you have a superb voice. I’m in love with you. Hope to see you in the hallways.
With love, F.

Just then, Finn appears.

Rachel: Oh my God, Finn!

Finn: (confused) Rachel!

Rachel hugs him.

Finn notices the letter in Rachel’s hand.

Finn: What’s with that letter?

Rachel: Don’t act surprise silly, is your letter.

Finn: What le…

Rachel gets angry.

Finn: (lying) Oh, THAT letter!

Rachel kisses him.

Rachel: You scared me.

Finn: Come on; give me that letter while we go to Glee Club.

Rachel hands in the letter while he grabs her hand and start walking.

The scene jumps to the Choir Room. “Feelings” is written on the white chart.

Rachel: Mr. Schuester?

Will: Yes, Rachel.

Rachel: I think the whole “express your feelings with a song” is really a good way of sharing emotions, but I suggest
we should start preparing our set list. Regionals are in three weeks, and if I want to get into NYADA, I have to win Sectionals.

Kurt: Rachel has a point. I love singing loves songs, but we should start preparing that set list.

Santana: Ok, I see it. Lady Lips here agrees with Berry because they are trying to get into that Hogwarts School of Streisands and LuPones. You are not getting the solo.

Rachel: And says who?

Will: Enough girls! Neither of you decides who is singing. And maybe either of you won’t be featured in Sectionals.

Rachel and Santana: What?!

Rachel gives a death-stare to Santana.

Rachel: Nobody messes up with my solo.

Will: Ok, you know what? How about starting with Sectionals?

Everyone nods in agreement.

Will: Anyone who wants to sing a solo, duet or whatever, come here and we will hear your opinions.

Mercedes: That sounds fair.

Rachel: Nobody will steal my solo.

Rachel gets up and storm off.

Finn: Mr. Schue don’t be harsh with her, she’s not having a good time. You know Shelby’s back and all that.

Will: Yes, you are right.

Finn: I’ll talk with her.

Finn gets up and leaves looking for Rachel.

School bell rings.
