He will be joining new directions as Mike Chang. Maybe he's related to Jenna's character since her name is Tina Cohen-Chang.

I think I am in love with Harry Shum, and I wonder how his character will fit in with the rest of New Directions 
And I am praying that he will be able to dance on the show because he is amazing! Heather wasn't the only dancer that did backup for Beyonce 
I was denied any dancing from Kevin, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Harry!

When IMDB first came out with Harry's character it said MARK Chang. Hmmm. Typo?
BUT ANYWAYS Harry's a TOTAL sweetheart. He always replies to me on Twitter.

I knew I wasn't crazy! I had been calling him Mark up until recently. Glad to know it wasn't just my imagination lol
