I figured.. if everybody has a place to hang out we could also have it... so if you are or live in Europe and you're a member of the forum then join the discussion... so just introduce yourself and tell other why you love glee... and what's your favorite ND number

I'm Christine... and I live in Italy.
I think what I like about glee and what made me love it is the fact that I can relate to some of the story-lines. For example Rachel being insecure sometimes.. just like I am. I also like it because it's an optimistic show most of the time and it gets my hopes up when I'm sad.

My favorite ND number is Somebody to Love because not only the vocals were amazing but.. it was just the whole choreography and the climax that made it, for me, impossible to top. I also preferred StL more than the Regionals number.

What do you guys think?

Hey, figured I would post something here since I am european. The name is Søren and I am from Copenhagen, Denmark. I am not a hardcore gleek, actually didnt know the show existed before it was announced that Charice would be on the show. I have been following her on Youtube for a few years.

I watched S1 to get familiar with the characters and the show, so I know alittle before S2. I think its a fun show to watch, I dont have any favorites other than I like the voices of Amber and Lea, the rest is alot of auto tune imo (maybe not Crris as much).

I am looking forward to S2 to starts to see listen to the new songs, character development and ofc Charice.

EDIT: Best pre-Charice song I think would be Shelby and Rachel singing "I dreamed a dream". Beautiful song and good acting.

I'm from Germany..and actually I don't know why i fell in love with glee...Usually I'm not that High Musical Kind of person but I love Cory Monteith so when I heard that he was going to be on glee I couldn't resist giving the show a go. Then I noticed Lea Michelle being in it-who I absolutely adore since Spring awakening - and thats when I knew I would become a gleek:)

It's a tough question tho which songs I love the most...mhm I can't decide on just one...I love "Keep holding on" (actually I almost love all group numbers!!Including Somebody to love/Lean on me(...)), then I really like "I'll stand by you"& "I can't fight this feeling", "Take a bow", "Don't rain on my parade" and some mash ups...and even tho it was described as the "prob. the worst song ever" i also really enjoyed "run joey run"

Finally I can sign in, because I'm not from Great Britain or U.S., but Poland. My name is Anna and although not many of my friends know Glee, this TV series slowly gains deserved popularity. I started watching Glee in February, when I had a serious break down. I won't claim that Glee was the ultimate remedy, but it helped a lot. Favourite character? I'm declared Kurtsie And my OTP is, as you can see in my signature, Finchel.

Hi, guys!
I'm Szilvi, and I'm from Hungary. I've been watching Glee since last September, and I don't really remember what was the first thing that made me watch it, but now I love it for the great music and dance numbers, and because there's so many different characters in it.
I'm a Kurtsie and I absolutely adore Chris Colfer.
I have a lot of favorite songs, it's hard to choose... "Rose's Turn" is probably on top of the list.

And Glee is going to air on Aug. 28th here, so yay, I can watch it on TV finally with awful Hungarian dub. XD

ETA: As for the weather, it's okay now, though there were small earthquakes and tornados earlier this week. o.O It's crazy.

Hey everybody

I'm from Germany, and hm...what I like about glee are the characters, the quotes (is that the right word? you know what I mean, right?) , and the songs, but mostly that it is a show that makes you feel good without ignoring how hard life can be. I usually don't like these "feel good"-movies - when I watched Mamma Mia I couldn't decide whether I wanted to vomit, run away or punch all these incredibly stupid characters in the face, I apologize to all fans of that movie who read this . However, the people on glee do have real problems, but they still try really hard to be happy whenever they can. That's kind of motivating. It's the same thing that I like about Rent, actually.

I'm not a hardcore fan or something. There aren't a lot more episodes that I love than episodes that I don't really care about. I think the plot is often silly (like the fake pregnancy), I can't stand Will's rapping, and I often think it's too cheesy. But it's really hard not to love that show, right? I certainly wasn't too optimistic about it when I started watching it, I thought it was going to be crappy. But it has so much heart and talent and creativity that despite all it's mistakes it's amazing

My favorite song....maybe "I dreamed a dream". But I also really like it when glee takes a song that I don't care about at all and suddenly makes me like it, e.g. "Poker Face" or "Take a Bow".

And it's rainy here.

his dancing moves are great--but i simply don't like his rapping. it annoys me. don't know why tho;) but "gold digger" grew on me for some unknwon reasons:P

Hi everyone!
I'm from Portugal, what made me watch glee was a tv promo (The one i posted in the "sing in" section)
I started watching Glee in April, what makes me love Glee are the storylines and like Christine said it's an optimistic show, it makes me laugh a lot and believe in my self
My favorite performance is Dont Stop Believing i like the regionals version better than the pilot version, and my favorite characters are Finn and Kurt.
Its been really hot in Lisbon this days. >.<'
